The Great Pyramid: The Hidden 42°
Most people know the face slope. Almost no one talks about the edge-to-apex angle that points near forty-two.
Flinders Petrie’s 1883 surveys measured the Great Pyramid with a discipline the internet rarely inherits. The face slope is the famous 51° something. The arris (edge to apex) sits near 42°.
Stone does not care about Douglas Adams. The measurement is older than the joke. The Book records both, and refuses to flatten one into the other.
